Labels can have a variety of problems during the punching process:

Deviation of the entire stack after punching

The parallelism between the die-cutting die edge and the feeding platform is large, and the label paper stack is prone to up-and-down errors when punching. When the die-cutting machine is working, the stack of labels is pushed into the paper feeding platform by the mechanical arm, and the platform moves up, so that the paper sheet advances toward the cutting edge and the punching is completed. If the cutting edge of the mold is not parallel to the working surface of the platform, the cutting edge of the mold cannot be completely in contact with the label surface at the same time during the punching and cutting process of the platform, but a certain section or a certain side is first contacted, and the stacked labels after punching will be There is a deviation in the layout or the upper and lower specifications. Therefore, in order to improve the punching accuracy, the periphery of the die cutting edge should be adjusted to be relatively parallel with the platform surface, so that the entire cutting edge can simultaneously contact the label paper surface to ensure uniform force during punching.

Die cutter quality causes poor die cutting

The mold knife is easy to become dull after using for a period of time, especially when punching the aluminum foil label, because the aluminum foil material is relatively tough, which is easy to cause the blade edge to wear, and even the blade edge is notched, that is, the blade is cracked. At the same time, the sidewall of the blade edge is prone to burr phenomenon, which increases the punching resistance and causes the punching error.

For blunt or worn mold knives should be honed in time, in the absence of special grinding equipment, you can first clamp the cylinder's diamond gong with a pistol-type electric drill, and the mold clamped on the vise along the cutting edge In the direction of the outer side wall, the edge of the blade is roughly ground once, and the notch and the burr are trimmed and tidy, and then finely ground with a brocade to smooth the roughened texture. During the process of sharpening the cutting edge, the tool nose (tip) should be trimmed into a straight line, and there should be no unevenness. The inner and outer sidewalls of the knife peak and the mold should also form a straight line, and the inside and outside of the cutting edge should not be ground to have a slope, so as to avoid increasing the punching resistance.

Punching knife technology affects punching accuracy

The center of the two sides of the punching knife is provided with a slitting knife, which is used to cut off the punched waste edge, reduce the working resistance of the waste paper to the cutting edge, and improve the punching precision of the label. In this way, the blade of the punching knife is required to be sharp at all times, and the position of the knife must be suitable. If the punching edge is higher than the die cutting edge, it will not only affect the punching precision, but also the edge of the label paper after punching will produce burrs; if the punching edge is significantly lower than the punching edge, it will lead to cut off the waste edge too late, so that The working resistance of the cutting edge of the knife is obviously increased, the cutting edge is easy to be damaged, and the punching precision is also lowered. Therefore, the cutting edge of the punching knife is preferably 0.5 mm lower than the cutting edge.
