1. Significance

On the contrary, if the heat sealing temperature is too high or the heat sealing pressure is too large or the heat sealing time is too long, it will cause excessive heat sealing of the packaging, and the heat sealing part will shrink and curl. When the packaging bag falls, When squeezed, it is easy to break the bag at the root of the heat sealing part. Therefore, by selecting appropriate packaging materials and adjusting the heat sealing process, the sealing effect of the heat sealing portion of the washing powder can be improved, the impact resistance of the heat sealing portion can be enhanced, and the bag breaking of the washing powder packaging can be effectively prevented.

2. Test basis

The standard based on this test is ASTM F2029-2016 "Standard Practices for Making Laboratory Heat Seals for Determination of Heat Sealability of Flexible Barrier Materials as Measured by Seal Strength".

3. Test samples

The test sample used in this paper is a plastic composite film for a certain brand of washing powder packaging.

4. Test equipment

4.1 Test principle

Fix the heat sealing pressure and heat sealing time, set a series of heat sealing temperatures, heat seal the samples at the set temperature, take a certain width of the heat sealed sample, and separate the free ends of the two sides of the sample It is clamped on the left and right fixtures of the equipment, and the heat seal part of the sample is destroyed by the drag of the right fixture. Heat seal strength. Compare the heat sealing strength and test phenomena of the samples under different heat sealing temperatures to determine the appropriate heat sealing temperature. Similarly, by fixing the remaining two heat sealing parameters, a suitable heat sealing pressure and heat sealing time range can also be obtained.

4.2 Scope of application

(1) This equipment is suitable for testing the heat sealing performance, thermal adhesion performance and heat sealing strength of various plastic films, paper-plastic composite films, aluminized films, aluminum foils, aluminum foil composite films and other film materials.

4.3 Device parameters

The control range of the heat sealing performance and the hot sticking performance are both room temperature to 250 ℃, and the temperature control resolution is ± 0.1 ℃; the temperature controlling precision of the heat sealing performance is ± 2 ℃, and the temperature control accuracy of the hot adhesive performance is ± 1 ℃ The control range of heat sealing pressure is 0.05 MPa ~ 0.7 MPa; the setting range of heat sealing time is ≤99.9 s; the load range of strength test is 0 ~ 50 N, the accuracy is level 1, the resolution is 0.1N; heat sealing The test speed of the strength test is 200 mm / min, 250 mm / min, 300 mm / min; the upper and lower heat seal heads can independently control the temperature; the manual and foot test start modes and the anti-scald design ensure user convenience And security.

5. Test process

(1) Cut 60 samples with a width of 15.0 mm and a length of 15 cm from the surface of the sample. Each 10 samples is a group.

(2) Set the heat sealing pressure to 0.35 MPa, the heat sealing time to 1 s, and the temperature of the upper and lower heat sealing heads to be 120 ° C. After reaching the set temperature, take two samples with their hot covers facing each other, put them between the two heat sealing heads, step on the foot switch, and the samples are heat sealed. In turn, heat seal the remaining 8 samples of the group in pairs. Then set the heat sealing temperature to 130 ° C, 135 ° C, 140 ° C, 145 ° C and 155 ° C respectively, and heat seal a group of samples at each temperature.

(3) Set parameter information such as sample width, test speed, sample name, etc. Take one heat-sealed sample, clamp both ends of it to the left and right fixtures of the device, click the test option, and the fixture starts to rotate , The sample heat seal parts are separated, the device displays the real-time force value, and shows the heat seal strength of the tested sample after the test. Repeat the clamping of the specimens-click the test step until all specimens are tested.

6. Test results

At 120 ° C, the average heat seal strength of the five samples after heat sealing is 6.31 N / 15mm, and the heat seal parts are flat; at 130 ° C, the average heat seal strength of the five samples after heat seal It is 39.63 N / 15mm, the heat-sealed parts are flat; at 135 ℃, the average heat-sealing strength of the five samples after heat-sealing is 41.08 N / 15mm, and the heat-sealed parts are flat; at 140 ℃, The average value of the heat sealing strength of the five samples after heat sealing is 39.167 N / 15mm, and the heat sealing parts are flat; at 145 ℃, the average value of the heat sealing strength of the five samples after heat sealing is 40.97 N / 15mm, the heat-sealed part is slightly bent; at 155 ℃, the average heat-seal strength of the five samples after heat-sealing is 38.73 N / 15mm, and the heat-sealed part shrinks.

7. Conclusion
