Precautions

2. After the test is completed, the adjustment clamp should be removed first;

3. If the test piece needs to be subjected to a destructive test, the instrument must be unloaded from the test piece before the damage test can be carried out;

4. The movable lower knife edge in the base is adjusted at the factory, and the user should not adjust it at will.

5. When using, the deformation of the tested piece shall not exceed the maximum range of the gauge to avoid damage to the gauge;

6. The measuring probe and the upper and lower cutting edges should be kept clean. Wipe clean after use and put oil into the box.

Instructions

1. First adjust the distance between the two cutting edges according to the size of the test piece.

If the size of the test piece is 100×100, first tighten the tightening nut (13), and change the position of the right connecting plate (12) and the two 25mm long positioning sleeves (14). Inside the sleeve), then tighten the tightening nut.

If the size of the test piece is 125×125, loosen the tightening nut, place the right connecting plate between the two 25mm positioning sleeves, and then tighten the tightening nut.

If the size of the test piece is 150×150, the right side of the test piece can be placed outside the two 25mm positioning sleeves, as shown in the structural diagram.

2. On the left and right bases (17) (19), install the left and right scales (2), (7), and tighten the set screws to fix the scale.

3. Adjust the position of the upper knife edge so that the distance between the upper and lower knife edges (6) (11) is equal to the required distance, and then tighten the fastening screw (5).

4. Place the two metering tables (1) and (8) on the left and right bases, and press the position.

5. Hold the left and right connecting plates (16) and (12) evenly with both hands. If the clamping force of the spring is not enough, turn the adjusting nut (21) to adjust the spring pressure.

6. When measuring the compression deformation, after clamping the test piece, the instrument will rotate the positioning screw (9) off the bottom surface of the lower knife edge > 7mm (reset after the test, so that the bottom surface of the lower knife edge is horizontal)

When measuring the tensile deformation, the side does not need to rotate the positioning screw down, and still keep the bottom surface of the lower knife in a horizontal position.

7. In order to enhance the clamping force of the upper knife edge, it can also be adjusted by the hand wheel (4).

8. The amount of compression of the test piece in the gauge length is calculated by taking the average of the values ​​of the two tables.
