The consumption of beverages in China's metal cans has increased from 57.4 billion in 1992 to 68.1 billion in 2001. At present, China's metal cans packaging market has shown a trend of supply exceeding demand, but from the per capita consumption analysis, there is still a large market space, the key to the development of the market is to reduce the cost of metal cans. If the beer production exceeds 20 million tons as the base, approximately 25 billion to 30 billion cans of beer can be consumed (including recycling).
