Cautions when using adhesives:

Storage period

a. Each product has a storage period. According to international standards and domestic standards, the storage period is at room temperature (24°C) and the acrylate resin is 20°C.

b. For acrylic products, the higher the temperature, the shorter the storage period?

c. For water-based products, such as the temperature below -1 °C, a direct impact on product quality?

2. Strength:

a. There is no universal glue in the world, different adherends, the best choice for special adhesive?

b. The strength of the adherend itself is low, so it is not necessary to use high-strength products. Otherwise, it will use more materials and increase costs?

c. Can not only emphasize the high initial strength, but should consider the durability better?

d. The performance of high temperature curing adhesives is much higher than room temperature curing, such as high strength requirements, good durability, high temperature curing adhesives?

e. In addition to emergency or small area repair and continuous production of a cyanoacrylate adhesive (502 super glue), it is not suitable for materials requiring high bonding strength.

3. Others

a. White latex and urea-formaldehyde can not be used to stick metal.

b. adhesives that require transparency, can use polyurethane adhesive? optical epoxy glue, saturated polyester, polyvinyl acetal glue?

c. Adhesives should not be corrosive to adherents, such as: polystyrene foam board, can not use solvent-based neoprene adhesive?

d. The adhesive with high brittleness should not stick to soft materials?

4. Notes on the use of adhesives:

a. For the AB component adhesive, in the ratio, please match the requirements of the specification?

b. For the AB component adhesive, must be fully stirred before use? Can not stay dead, otherwise it will not cure?

c. The adherent must be cleaned and cannot have water (except underwater curing glue)?

d. In order to achieve high bonding strength, the adherend is polished as far as possible.

e. Adhesive joint design is good or bad, determine the bond strength level?

f. When the adhesive is used, it must be ready for use. Do not leave it for too long. If it is fast curing, it should not exceed 2 minutes.

g. For high strength, fast curing, depending on the conditions of heating, when coating, not too thick, generally 0.5mm is better, the thicker the worse the bonding effect?

h. When bonding an object, it is best to apply pressure or fix it with a jig.

i. In order to make the strength higher, it is better to leave 24 hours after bonding.

j. One-component solvent or water type, must be mixed evenly when used?

k. For solvent-based products, after the glue is applied, it is better to cool it until it is not sticky.
