Eastman Launches New Elegant Polyester Cosmetic Bottle

CAPELLE AAN DEN IJSSEL, THE NETHERLANDS: Eastman will showcase a new type of polymer made from the Glass Polymer® series of copolyesters at the Luxe Pack 2008 in Hall Verriere, Monaco, Oct. 28-31, 2008. A new paradigm for elegant and innovative makeup and personal care packaging design. These unique copolyesters have multi-sensing impact on all package designs and at the same time meet the industry's need for different performance and design flexibility. The Glass Polymer® series of copolyesters provide excellent transparency, excellent chemical resistance and impact resistance, and can be molded or combined with metal and natural fibers.

Exhibitors will see the new Chronos Flavonoides de Passiflora cheese production line launched by the Brazilian chemical market leader Natura, using the latest sustainable packaging development made with Eastman materials. Glass PolymerTM offers flexibility in product design while meeting Natura's goal of reducing, reusing and recycling packaging. Innovative solutions that combine bottomless bottles with refilling reduce raw material and energy consumption.
