PET bottle new technology effectively guarantees beverage quality and nutrition

This spring, AriZona Beverage Co. of Woodbury, New York, introduced four vitamin-enhanced drinking water bottles using Constar injection PET bottles nationwide. According to AriZona, the 20.5 ounce PET bottle incorporates Constar's DiamondClear deoxygenation technology to drive off oxygen to ensure beverage quality and intrinsic nutrient content. AriZona Beverage Co. recently introduced injection-molded PET bottled emergency water with oxygen removal technology.

Multi-Color Corp. is responsible for printing a full-body shrink label on a 50-micron-thick polyvinyl chloride film using seven-color gravure printing. The injection-molded polypropylene bottle cap on the bottle is produced by Silgan White Cap. The shelf life is 18 months when the bottle cap is not opened, and can be stored in the refrigerator at a low temperature for 7 to 10 days after opening.

Jim Gunther, head of the company's graphics and design department, said: "It can be said that the design of PET bottles is very unique.
