Frames: The basics of screen printing The non-deformed frame is usually used for garment printing, but it is also used for image printing. Each of the above problems has a problem of value, and when you use a poorly curved or distorted frame, it may not only result in one or two of the above problems, but in parallel. Successful screen printing controls various variables. Sufficient web tension and stability are the key to the printing process and gain control. The screen must be controllable and predictable, otherwise you will face the danger of complicating the printing process. Whether using fixed or non-deformed frames is a matter of personal preference. The important thing is that they can maintain a stable structure, and there must be no slight deformation under the necessary tension. Finding the right frames and using them correctly will increase your costs, but if you do so, the fine reproductions and reduced lead times you get can be a lot more profitable than the increased costs.
