If the bearing ring and the shaft and the seat hole are tightly fitted, the installation of the inner ring and the outer ring must be pressed into the shaft and the seat hole at the same time. The structure of the assembly sleeve should be able to press the end surfaces of the bearing inner ring and the outer ring at the same time.

Heating coordination

By heating the bearing or bearing housing, the thermal expansion is used to transform the tight fit into a loose fit installation method. It is a common and labor-saving installation method. This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with a large interference. Before the hot assembly, the bearing or the separable bearing ring is placed in the oil tank and heated evenly at 80-100 ℃, and then removed from the oil and installed on the shaft as soon as possible. To prevent the end face of the inner ring and the shaft shoulder from being tight after cooling, the bearing can be axially tightened after cooling. When the outer ring of the bearing is tightly fitted with the bearing seat made of light metal, the hot fitting method of heating the bearing seat can be used to prevent the mating surface from being scratched.

When heating the bearing with an oil tank, there should be a grid at a certain distance from the bottom of the tank, as shown in Figure 2-7, or use a hook to hang the bearing. The bearing cannot be placed on the bottom of the tank to prevent sunken impurities from entering the bearing or uneven For heating, there must be a thermometer in the oil tank, and the oil temperature must be strictly controlled not to exceed 100 ° C to prevent the effect of tempering and reduce the hardness of the ferrule.

About the installation of thrust bearings

The fit of the thrust bearing circumference and the shaft is generally a transition fit, and the fit of the seat ring and the bearing seat hole is generally a clearance fit, so this bearing is easier to install. The center shaft spring of the two-way thrust bearing should be fixed on the shaft to prevent relative Turn on the shaft.

The installation method of the bearing is generally the rotation of the shaft, so the cooperation between the inner ring and the shaft is an win-win fit, and the cooperation between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing chamber is a clearance fit.

1) Bearing preparation

Since the bearings are rust-proofed and packaged, do not open the package before installation.

In addition, the anti-rust oil coated on the bearing has good lubricating properties. For general-purpose bearings or bearings filled with grease, it can be used without cleaning. But for the bearing for instrument or the bearing used for high-speed rotation, the clean anti-rust oil should be used to wash away the anti-rust oil. At this time, the bearing is easy to rust and cannot be left for a long time.

2) Inspection of shaft and housing

Clean the bearing and housing, and make sure there are no scratches or burrs left by mechanical processing. There must be no abrasive (SiC, Al2O3, etc.) molding sand, cutting chips, etc. in the casing.

Secondly, check whether the size, shape and processing quality of the shaft and the shell are consistent with the drawings.

Before installing the bearing, apply mechanical oil to each mating surface of the shaft and shell that passed the inspection.

Generally, the shaft rotates, so the inner ring and the outer ring can use interference fit and clearance fit respectively. When the outer ring rotates, the outer ring uses interference fit.

(2) Hot sleeve installation

The heat sleeve method of heating the bearing in oil to expand it and then installing it on the shaft can prevent the bearing from being subjected to unnecessary external forces and complete the installation operation in a short time.

Precautions for heating:

1) General heating should not exceed 100 degrees Celsius.

2) The bearing is not allowed to touch the bottom of the oil groove.
